The character “Quán” (觀) has two meanings. Pronounced as “guan”, it means to observe, examine, and actively perceive.
Pronounced as “quán”, it means to be observed, to be watched, a passive state of being evaluated. When one is observed for their good deeds, it means their words and actions set an example for others.
